Embers & Roots is a family-run ethical home fragrance business, working from a remote workshop nestled in the woodlands of Yorkshire. Every ingredient is carefully selected to create exceptional, mood-enhancing fragrances that mirror the seasons and the great outdoors — bringing the calm and character of nature directly into your home.

Made using the finest natural ingredients, their scents are designed to shift the atmosphere of a room — grounding, uplifting or soothing depending on the season and the moment. Perfectly scented, perfectly cosy, all year round.

Their craft & ethos

The impact of every decision — from product design to packaging to workshop improvements — is always considered with one question in mind: can we do better?

• Boxes — FSC certified, recyclable, compostable or reusable. Supplier boxes in good condition are reused; damaged ones are recycled.
• Packing nuggets — eco-friendly and water-soluble; can be reused or composted.
• Paper & tape — recycled paper wrapping and paper tape, both fully recyclable or compostable.
• Candle jars — plastic-free amber glass, designed to be reused or recycled.
• Reed diffusers — plastic-free and refillable.
• Solar panels — their workshop runs on solar energy.
