Who they are

Bliss Botanicals was founded by Rebecca, an artisan soap maker who handcrafts every product in her rural Wiltshire workshop. With a lifelong passion for natural skincare and the art of traditional soap making, Rebecca creates luxurious, small-batch soaps, bath bombs and body butters — each infused with botanical ingredients, pure essential oils and, as she puts it, a touch of everyday magic.

The intention behind every Bliss Botanicals product is beautifully simple: to turn routine into ritual.

Their craft & ethos

Every Bliss Botanicals creation is made using the cold process method — a traditional technique that makes a genuine difference to your skin. Here’s why it matters:

Cold processing naturally produces glycerin as a byproduct — a humectant that attracts moisture to the skin, keeping it hydrated and soft. Unlike commercial soap manufacturers who remove glycerin for use elsewhere, Rebecca’s soaps retain it in full. Her spa bars go a step further, using a coconut oil base with a high salt content (salt being another natural humectant) to create a beautifully creamy lather that never leaves skin feeling tight — making them particularly lovely for sensitive skin.

There are no harsh chemicals, no SLS, no parabens — nothing that strips the skin of its natural oils or disrupts its pH balance. Instead, natural oils like olive oil, coconut oil and shea butter bring vitamins, antioxidants and fatty acids that nourish, protect and moisturise. The result is a pH-balanced soap that works with your skin’s natural protective barrier, not against it.

Rebecca is a proud member of the Guild of Craft Soap and Toiletry Makers, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of UK Cosmetics Regulations. Their commitment to quality has earned well-deserved recognition — a Silver Medal in the 2024 Free From Skincare Awards for the Rosemary Spa Bar, a Bronze in The Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards 2025 for the Rose Geranium Spa Bar, and a Vegan Beauty Award for the Goddess Soap.
